San Jose, CA -- (SBWIRE) -- 11/07/2008 -- In an open letter to fans of the LoPresti Fury aircraft, LoPresti Aviation initiated a buyer protection plan unparalleled in Aviation. No deposit, no penalty and you make money, guaranteed.

Rj Siegel, Chief Operating Officer of LoPresti, released the details of a limited offer to Fury customers Tuesday, November 4th. "This is actually an homage to our founder, Roy LoPresti," said Siegel. "It's the way he would do it and we're honoring that".

"The ordinary GA process is to take deposits from customers and use their money for operating capital". "The customers are at risk and even if they do eventually get the aircraft they ordered, in the interim they lose the use of their cash as well as any income it could generate."

"We decided to completely protect our customers by having them secure a Fury position with a Certificate of Deposit "IN THEIR NAME ONLY". Only the customer has access the cash and it earns interest while they wait.""There is no penalty for canceling an order and of course the customer has immediate access to their CD should their personal needs change," Siegel explained. "It's a tough economy and it's the right thing to do. We believe in our product, so it really wasn't that hard a decision".

2008 has been a "Fury-ous" whirlwind year for LoPresti. We've completed quite a list of new features for the Fury. From an even lower, low drag cowl, to our iPod "Intuition" avionics bay, we never stop innovating and improving. The October 08 Plane & Pilot reviews the latest Fury as the finest of the breed. Part fighter, part cross country cruiser, the Fury has frequently been called "a Ferrari with wings". We humbly and appreciatively, accept the compliment!

As we move towards production we will try to keep all our fans informed. Please realize however, our primary expertise is building airplanes. You probably know us as innovators and high tech engineers but in a lot of ways we're really quite old school. Sure, we use the Internet, cell phones and TiVo, but we prefer an old fashioned letter or better yet a visit. So, please bear with us as we try to find the time to send out regular updates.

OK, now suppose you want one.

For those or you who find themselves compelled to place the Fury on their "must have" list, this is your process...

First, the timeline.

1. We have just broken ground on our Sebastian facility. We are told we will have occupancy in April.
2. The first three test aircraft will be assembled in this facility (18-24 months)
3. Production begins immediately thereafter. The first year production (60 Aircraft) is already sold out.
4. We will begin taking positions on the second 60, this January 12, 2009.

Next, the process.

1. There is no prepayment. Zero.
2. To secure your position we require a $35K Certificate of Deposit (CD), but in your name only.
3. We have no access to your CD. Only you can cash it.
4. When your Fury is actually scheduled for manufacture you will be contacted with a production timetable.
5. We expect the timetable to be 90-180 days.
5. Only then will your CD be converted into cash.
6. Alternatively, you may elect to cancel your position without penalty. (or any time prior).
7. The balance is due only when your personal aircraft has a skinned empennage.
